Our cattle feed on the grass in our pastures during the growing season. In winter, the cattle receive the same green fodder in dried form.
“Animals that live on pasture produce better meat than others” this has now been proven by a study by ETH Zurich.
Various scientific experiments have shown that cattle have a higher omega-3 fatty acid content due to the green fodder from the pasture. Omega-3 fatty acids are healthy unsaturated fatty acids (vitamin F).
In addition, the meat from cattle raised extensively, i.e. on pasture, is very aromatic and tender.
